Attack on Titan volume 20 , released on August 9, sold an massive amount of 917,057 copies in its first week, sky rocketing to the top place in the weekly manga sales chart.
the volume's 1000yen limited edition set , included with a 27-episode short novel book, ranked 5th place with 89,365 units. which actually makes the total sales 1,006, 422.
the 19th volumes total sales this year was 771,707 copies , which under ranked the newest volume 20.
with the games release edging closer , i can tell that 2016 is a good year for AOT, now we just have to await the second season !
